I'm back in Singapore!! :D Listened to lots of Joan Sutherland arias and slept quite a bit, even through the ruckus that the 2 young guys beside me were making. I didn't even know they were making so much noise - I practically slept through all of it! And oh yeah, they did have quite a few beers.
Anyway I did a final photoshoot for Aggie the day before I left. This time it's a really long one - from day to night. Can see how Aggie's pupils go from constricted to dilated. Well I didn't have anymore exams, so I could do it.
She knew I was leaving for a month, so she wasn't that impressed.
But she was willing to pose one last time.
"Hang on Min, let me have a bath first before that! I want my coat to be nice, neat and shiny so that I look good!"
"Wait, there's a cramp in my neck! Let me get rid of the cramp first."
"Now I've got an itchy spot. Let me scratch it first. Ahhhh, it feels good!!"
So we finally start, but Aggie senses hunger satisfactions coming her way. She looks around, but can't find the source of the food.
Her typical "Feed me please!" posture.
Finally her food comes. She scrutinises it for a moment, then digs in happily.
And as usual, she finishes everything.
Acting cute. Well she doesn't really need to act - she IS cute! We all love her fluffiness and her wonderful personality.
Ok. Finally. After waiting for her to finish her bathtime, her scratching, her hunger satisfactions etc, we finally get down to business.
So...some close up shots of her face - while she's still sitting happily after her meal.
Then she jumps onto the kitchen garden bench. "Meow! Now it's time to take pictures of me on the kitchen garden bench!"
Then she moves under the bench. And that's when the difficult part starts - trying to get a good shot of her. She did a good job though, posing and looking where I wanted her to look. Well I didn't even have to tell her where to look - she automatically did it.
No wonder we all call her a poser.
"Ok, first pose - I'll put my paw in this position......"
"Then I'll change position...putting my paws on the ground now..."
"And oh my gosh, it's soooo cold! Min, aren't you getting cold? I've to wrap my tail around me to keep warm!"
Yet another few closeups of her face. I couldn't really sit on the ground or I'd get stuff stuck on my jeans. She didn't mind though.
She then gives a massive stretch, then "catwalks" to the shed. For more pictures of course!
"This is my home - the kitchen garden. It's an awesome place!"
I love the way her pupils are so dilated in these pictures.
"No Min! Don't go! I still wanna pose some more!"
"Hang on, I found something on the wood. I wonder what it is..."
And then she hops back up onto the sink and continues being an awesome model. It was nearly sunset by then.
And later on the kitchen garden light was switched on, so we both used it to our advantage. She continued posing like a professional, while I hovered around her, madly snapping pictures.
I really like the way she poses here, with her head resting on her paw.
And by then her eyes were even more dilated. She looks so adorable here!
That's about it I guess. I'll most certainly be back for more pictures of her! She's probably a model in her past life, that's why she's so natural and gorgeous. And not to mention, vain - in a good way.
Ok - here are some other pictures I took before leaving Melbourne. I think this was sometime in the early winter or late autumn, where I decided to take a walk down St Kilda Road (Melbourne).
Awesome graffiti along the river. I LOVE MUSHROOMS!!
Spotted a family taking pictures in the garden. If I'm not wrong these're just regular family shoots. Or maybe a photoshoot for a wedding.
The trees were nearly completely bare, but there were a few leaves that still stayed on till the very last day of autumn and into the first few weeks of winter.
Walking around the gardens before reaching St Kilda Road.
And of course, I had to de-tour to the Shrine of Remembrance to grab ANZAC cookies. They're soooo yummy! I think we finished 1 box in a night or something - we just couldn't stop munching on them.
And I guess the next post will be on the sights and scenery in Singapore...goodbye for now, Melbourne, and I'll be back in 3 weeks' time in Melbourne!
