USA 2010 (1)

I'm finally bach (oops I mean back!) in Singapore! Have been battling extreme fatigue and an unpleasant bout of cold for the past 2 days, but now I'm almost recovered from the fatigue! The cold will take a while to subside though.

Anyway I'm not too sure how many posts I'll need to cover this entire trip - coz there're just so many pictures to post! I'll start at the very beginning though - it's usually a very good place to start.

Oh, and these adorable critters say hi! Found 'em at a golf shop before heading towards the Golden Gate Bridge.

Sunrise from the plane - on the way to San Francisco (SF). SF was our very first destination, and we stayed there for about 2 days, before heading to Orlando, Florida.

We drove around SF for a while, once we landed. And decided to head towards the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a must-see, according to my mum's friend - the girl who brought us around.

And she was definitely right!

A wide-angled view of the Golden Gate Bridge and its surroundings.

We actually walked up the Golden Gate Bridge and stopped about halfway, before going back to our starting point. And the view from the bridge - totally awesome.

It was nearly sunset when we started off our journey...

And we could see lots of stuff from where we were - for example, Alcatraz Island:

And the CBD of SF. We eventually went there for dinner, but unfortunately we didn't see the Golden Gate Bridge from there.

We walked for about 20 to 30 minutes, and the sunset was gorgeous from where we stood.

And this was taken when we reached the carpark:

Some displays explaining the mechanics and physics of the Golden Gate Bridge...

As well as the guy who designed and thought of the Bridge:

And on a side note, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge reminded me of a really terrible movie we watched in July this year. I shan't disclose the title of the movie though...

Thanks lots for viewing and sorry for the delay!

Our next destination would be Fisherman's Wharf - also in SF.
