And here's part 2 of the Christmas decorations collection!
Pictures outside Ang Mo Kio Hub - a shopping centre about 10 minutes away from where I live. I just happened to notice these decorations while on the bus too. And one of the main reasons why I took these pictures - they were really, really adorable and I love the decorations this year! I don't really remember last year's decorations though.
Cute little elves and a Santa, just outside the main entrance.
Another reason why I took these pictures - they had MUSHROOMS!! One thing I really, really like - MUSHROOMS. I've no idea why, but I think mushrooms are really adorable.
A closer view of the mushrooms...and even more views of the mushrooms after that...
These are some of the decorations, with the mushrooms of course...
And another decoration - the "bakery", with really, really adorable gingerbread men holding baguettes. I just happened to be hungry then...
Last picture of the decorations...with the mushrooms (of course!), half a christmas tree, and a tiny bit of the MRT station just opposite. :)
Now, bach (I mean back) to the decorations along Orchard Road - which I took last Sunday. There're lots of photo opportunities in the city, and of course, I'll be going back to take many more pictures this weekend.
Colourful streamers along Centrepoint, which change colours whenever sunlight hits them.
And these are the main decorations above Orchard Road - they come in blue, purple and pink.
Purple Christmas tree at one of the junctions. These decorations are sponsored by Hitachi - an electronics company.
More blue stars, and purple stars, just outside Heeren, another shopping centre.
Closeup of the blue decorations...
And with my telephoto lens in maximum zoom, I managed to capture details of a Christmas tree just outside the Paragon, yet another shopping centre. Can't believe it - in 2 days' time, I would be having my ATCL exams in the Paragon!
This is probably one of the last few shots of the main decorations...I've shots of purple, blue and pink stars.
And further down the street, there were Christmas trees with colourful balls and wrapped-up presents as decorations...
Trying to create a fish-eye effect with one of the colourful, shiny balls. This one was pretty successful...
Ribbons on another tree...
A not-so-successful attempt at creating a fish-eye effect. I like this picture though - the presents on the tree are reflected in the top right corner, and the ball is framed by the Christmas tree leaves.
And last but not least, a shot of the road, with all the gorgeous decorations.
And that (finally) concludes my collection of Christmas decorations! I might even go back and take some more - they're just so gorgeous!
Thanks lots for viewing, and do stay tuned for the next post!
Oh, and on a side note, it's DECEMBER! Whoaaaaa...time sure flies!
